The terms that apply when you browse this website, request a quote or engage Serin Towing & Recovery for towing, recovery or transport services.

These Terms of Service apply to use of this website and to enquiries, quotes and services provided by Serin Towing & Recovery / Serin Transport.

1. Our services

We provide towing, recovery, vehicle transport, machinery and equipment transport, storage coordination and related support across Perth and regional Western Australia. The exact service, equipment, route, timing and price depend on the asset, condition, access, destination, safety requirements and information available at the time.

Website content is general information only. A service is not confirmed until we accept the request and agree the relevant scope, price and arrangements with you.

2. Enquiries, quotes and bookings

  • Quotes are based on the information supplied and may need to be revised if the asset, access, distance, timing or circumstances differ.
  • A quote may exclude waiting time, tolls, permits, storage, specialist equipment, difficult access, additional labour, cleaning, recovery work or other third-party costs unless stated.
  • Urgent and same-day work is subject to availability, safety and the conditions at the collection site.
  • We may decline or stop work where access, weather, traffic, site conditions or the asset creates an unreasonable safety risk.

3. Pricing, payment and storage

Payment terms, deposits and accepted payment methods will be communicated before or during booking. Additional work or costs will be discussed where reasonably practicable. If an asset remains in our care or the care of a storage provider, storage and related charges may apply and release may be subject to payment of amounts properly due.

4. Customer responsibilities

You must provide accurate information, disclose known damage or hazards, identify the owner or authorised person, provide reasonable access and remove personal or valuable items unless otherwise agreed. You must ensure any required permissions, keys, access instructions, permits and documents are available.

You must not ask us to transport dangerous, unlawful or improperly secured items. Tell us about LPG, batteries, fuels, chemicals, hazardous goods, animals or other special risks before booking.

5. Timing, cancellations and delays

Arrival and delivery times are estimates unless a written service commitment says otherwise. Delays may result from traffic, weather, breakdowns, emergencies, access, loading conditions, third parties or events outside reasonable control. Cancellation or rescheduling charges may apply where resources have been committed or a vehicle is already dispatched; any applicable charge will be explained where practicable.

6. Liability and Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, including consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law. Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under that law. For a major failure, you may be entitled to cancel the service contract and receive a refund for the unused portion or compensation for its reduced value, as well as compensation for reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

Subject to those rights, our responsibility is limited to the extent permitted by law and to the loss caused by our failure to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss caused by inaccurate information, pre-existing damage, hidden defects, unsafe instructions, third-party conduct or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

7. Website use

You may use this website for lawful purposes only. Content is provided in good faith but may change and is not a guarantee of availability, price, timing or suitability for a particular job. Website content, branding, text and images belong to Serin Towing & Recovery / Serin Transport or its licensors and must not be copied or reused without permission.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia and applicable Australian law. The courts of Western Australia have jurisdiction, subject to any rights you may have under consumer law.
